PIER AND BEAM FOUNDATION - A foundation using columns (piers) which extend from footings below ground to the floor above ground. This contrasts with a slab foundation, which is solid concrete.


MARKET VALUE - The highest price a willing buyer would pay and a willing seller accept, both being fully informed, and the property exposed for a reasonable period of time.
